Sangamithra is an MFA candidate in Fiction at New Mexico State University. Throughout the school year, she works as a graduate assistant in the Creative Media Institute, but during the summer months, she works with the Deparment of Astronomy to write articles related to Sunspot Solar Obervatory and update content on the observatory's website.
